Christ Hospital will be offering a weekend program for expectant parents. The Prepared Childbirth Program covers topics including Lamaze breathing, relaxation techniques, stages of labor and delivery, pain management options, breast feeding, Cesarean birth, caring for your newborn, and much more. Program attendees are provided with a wealth of information and leave the class with resources to guide you through parenthood. A tour of our five-star, state-of-the-art Maternity Unit is included as part of the program.
This program is recommended for expectant mothers in the last trimester of their pregnancy. The next program will be offered on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. at Christ Hospital. Pre-registration and a $100 registration fee per couple is required.
