Christ Hospital Back to Normal Operations

As of 7:30 pm this evening, operations at Christ Hospital have returned to normal. Earlier in the day, a transformer fire caused a partial loss of power to the facility, affecting the air conditioning and elevator services at the hospital.

Crews worked throughout the day to restore power to these services. Visitors and family members were dissuaded from visiting patients until these services had been restored to normal operation.

Due to the outstanding efforts of all hospital personnel, at no time during this incident was the safety of the patients at Christ Hospital compromised.
