The Christ Hospital Foundation

The Christ Hospital Foundation, the fundraising arm of Christ Hospital, was established in 1980 to raise funds for the sole benefit of the hospital and the community we serve. Our first project was to build a comprehensive cancer treatment center which offered radiation therapy to the residents of Hudson County. Prior to that, cancer patients requiring this treatment had to cross the Hudson River and travel to New York City.

Since then, thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Christ Hospital Foundation has funded the same day surgery suites, built the cardiac catheterization and cancer treatment centers.

The Christ Hospital Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and a registered charity with the state of New Jersey. If you would like to join with other dedicated donors, we invite you to show your support.

Types of Donations

General Contributions and Specific Donations:
Donors may make general, unrestricted contributions to the Christ Hospital Foundation to be used at the discretion of the board of trustees. Supporters may also designate or restrict their contributions to be used for a specific program or service.

Special Events:
Special thanks and great appreciation to all those who supported our 2009 charity ball. It was a tremendous success! Please check back frequently for dates of other special events benefiting Christ Hospital.

Memorial Gifts:
Donors may make a contribution in memory of or in honor of any individual, family or group. For contributions of $400 or more, a remembrance of your loved one will be placed on our “Tree of Life” displayed in the hospital’s lobby.

Planned Giving:
By including Christ Hospital in your estate planning, you can create a lasting bond with our mission and ensure our community is cared for in generations to come. Aside from the tax advantages associated with planned giving, making a deferred gift allows you to support a charity without impacting current or future income.
