What better way to meet the growing needs of the
residents of Hudson County than by adding another outstanding service to Christ Hospital’s award-winning Maternal Child Unit. Our ongoing commitment to the community continues, as we are pleased to announce a partnership with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center with whom we will share clinical expertise and incorporate a Level II Nursery at Christ Hospital.

We are proud to enhance our premier Maternal Child Health Services here at Christ Hospital, which has ranked in the top five percent in the nation by HealthGrades for the last 3 years. The recently expanded Maternal Child Unit includes 13 private rooms; 4 labor, delivery and recovery suites; 2 C-section operative areas; a spacious newborn nursery; and a neonatal intensive care nursery. Our perinatal services are among the most comprehensive available in Hudson County, offering routine ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and genetic counseling.

Talented clinical specialists from Christ Hospital and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Healthcare System, will team up to provide our patients with care of the highest quality.
