Family Medicine Residency Program
Christ Hospital has a Family Medicine Residency Program that is affiliated with the UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ.
The program is both a traditional rotating internship and family medicine residency program. While most of the residents remain in the field of family medicine, some of the residents continue their training in other fields of medicine, including radiology, anesthesiology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Family Medicine residents working in Christ Hospital provide continuity of care for the patients, both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as the Emergency Department. Rendering such follow-up care from Christ Hospital to the family practice offices is a ‘win win’ for both our hospital and patients.
