At Christ Hospital , you will discover a team of highly skilled and qualified professionals dedicated to providing state-of-the-art innovative and family-centered sensitive care for your newborns, infants, children and adolescents. Christ Hospital Pediatric Services offer a variety of services, including a 13-bed inpatient unit and a nursery, equipped with 23 bassinets, three incubators, five warmers and two recently acquired LED (Light Emitting Diodes) phototherapy units.
The Pediatric Department has 45 board-certified pediatricians on staff, along with other subspecialists available, which include pediatric allergy, cardiology, endocrinology, ENT, nephrology, orthopedic, pediatric surgery and plastic surgery. In addition, there is a 24 hours, seven-day-a-week, board-certified pediatrician in-house to take care of the patients. Also, included in our excellent team of professionals are the well trained and well experienced pediatric nurses, who are assisted by a courteous and well mannered ancillary staff. Other professionals include lactation specialists; registered dietitians, who are particularly geared for the overweight and obese children; clinical social workers; and pastoral care.
Our Emergency Room physicians and staff are also sensitive to providing high priority to our pediatric patients. When arriving at Christ Hospital, our young patients are seen as soon as possible, so they do not have to wait long hours in the emergency room.
