Christ Hospital
has earned the Joint Commission's
Gold Seal of Approval
The Christ Hospital Transportation Service offers "non-emergency," curb-to-curb transportation, free of charge, to eligible residents of Jersey City and the municipalities of Hudson County. These individuals are generally over 60 years old. Though the program is sponsored by Christ Hospital, participants do not have to be associated with the hospital or its physicians in order to access services.

Most often, transportation is provided to doctor's offices, clinics, community facilities or nutrition sites throughout Jersey City.

As a healthcare institution, Christ Hospital believes that the appropriate transportation is essential for the health of our community. This program helps keep Hudson County residents out of nursing homes and hospitals, by assisting older Americans and the physically challenged to maintain a quality lifestyle in the community.
